CANCELED - Górecki: Symphony No. 3 - Symphony of Sorrowful Songs

Unfortunately this event has been cancelled; hopefully it will be rescheduled.

I’m thrilled to be a part of a performance of Górecki’s Third Symphony, also known as the Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, presented in a new transcription for organ by Ryan Kennedy.

This concert begins with a performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion by the Christ Church Choir at 5 pm, and is followed by Symphony No.3. This event is free, with a suggested donation to support music programs at Christ Church Bronxville.

Fresh Squeezed Opera: 2019 Showcase

  • Opera America National Opera Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

A intimate evening of chamber vocal music.

Every year, Fresh Squeezed Opera selects a featured piece to set the tone for the season opening Showcase. This year, the selected piece is a world premiere of a commissioned piece from Kaley Lane Eaton. I’m very excited to be a part of this premiere!

Pychographics, Kaley Lane Eaton (World Premiere)

The work will explore how tech corporations have feminized digital personal assistants, and what this implies about society's relationship to both women and technology. This work will explore this concept from the perspective of a woman in our society, and will focus on exposing our collective unconscious bias towards women through providing some narrative ambiguity to the audience.

Cantanti Project: Far and Near

I'm excited to be joining Cantanti Project for this concert, part of the United Palace of Cultural Arts' Lobby Series. I'll be performing works by Eva Dell'Acqua, Amy Beach, and the famous Flower Duet from Lakmé!

Cantanti Project performs "Far and Near," a concert that explores the distance between where you are and where you long to be.

Some distances are small, some are big; some distances are measured by miles, and some by hopes and fears. Through opera, musical theater, and popular songs, Cantanti Project goes on a musical journey about the excitement of new adventures, the strength it takes to pursue your dreams, and the importance of finding a place where you belong.

Featuring music from Carmen, Lakmé, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and favorites such as "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and "Besame Mucho."

Admission is free - reserve a ticket
